Community Land Scotland is a member-led organisation. Our members are community landowners and aspiring community landowners from across Scotland, and they shape everything we do.

Our members own a wide range of land and buildings, from whole island estates and commercial forestry to affordable housing and inner city community spaces. Between them, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience which they can share with other communities. They are very strong voices for change both locally and nationally.

Our Board is drawn from our membership — ensuring that our governance reflects the realities of community ownership. Beyond that, we regularly consult and draw upon our members’ expertise and experience to guide our priorities, inform our policy work, and share best practice across the sector.
