Regional Gatherings
Bringing community landowners together across Scotland
Our Regional Gatherings are a series of peer-learning events that bring together community landowners and aspiring community landowners for two days of discussion, networking and learning.
Designed in response to requests from members, the gatherings create space to explore some of the most pressing issues facing community landowners today, including community engagement, succession planning, governance, resilience and sustainable development.
Each year, we host gathering is different parts of Scotland, rotating location to ensure communities from across the country have the opportunity to take part.
What happens at a Regional Gathering?
Regional Gatherings are built around learning from one another.
Delivered over two days, each gathering includes:
- A visit to a local community landowner
- Tours and conversations with community hosts
- Peer-to-peer networking and shared learning
- Workshops and facilitated discussions
- Informal social time to build connections across the network
What do participants say?
The gathering brings together people at ever stage of the community ownership journey, from communities exploring acquisition through to long-established organisations managing complex projects and services.
