Urras Coimhearsnachd Dhùn Bheagain/Dunvegan Community Trust

Dunvegan Community Trust is developing plans for a community buyout of the Gaeltec Building in Dunvegan with a vision to developing a vibrant, multi-use community hub; creating local job opportunities and fostering community unity.  We’re also collaborating with The Highland Council to acquire our community play park site for a much needed new park.

We continue to explore the opportunity of acquiring land from Highlands and Islands Enterprise for the development of community housing and woodland crofts. We believe this will be a positive and manageable project that will offer good value to the community and be a step in the right direction of addressing depopulation locally.
