Storytelling commissions
Three professional storytellers, working in Gaelic, Scots and English, will each be paired with two groups each, to create new pieces rooted in the story of their route to community ownership journey. The storytellers and communities will shape the pieces together, and each will be performed locally, filmed, and added to the 100years.scot archive.
This strand of the project will be in partnership with the Scottish Storytelling Centre. We will document the process that the community and storytellers undertake, to help to highlight the process and impact of gathering and sharing memories. Both in an act of celebrating and reflecting, but also to ensure that that understanding and knowledge is shared for the future.
