What they said:

We hosted a free drop-in haunted hall guising event for all the family, including dogs, with decorations, lighting and various challenges for kids to do and swap spiders they earned for treats. This event helps us share the message that the town hall is for everyone in the community, and visitors, of all ages, and brought new people through the door. Great feedback that parents could come together in a warm, dry, safe place on a dark, wet Halloween for fun, and the kids loved it!

We appreciated the funding for our fringe event as it is a huge building and takes a lot to decorate for Halloween. Thanks you.

Outcomes and Community Feedback:

Great feedback, on the night one girl said it was the best night ever. We didn’t canvas for donations but parents were keen to give something and we collected over £100. It also created interest and support for future events.

Challenges:

Not knowing how many would come without selling tickets, but heard from school mum there was a buzz about it.
