What they said:
To celebrate the community ownership of the land and properties. A mixture of volunteers, supporters and donors and members of the community attended to help celebrate the land. We had a band a buffet and some poetry readings relevant to the land and the nature which relayed how we all have a connection to the land and it’s history. Everyone enjoyed and gave great feedback asking “When were we having the next one.” 🙂
Outcomes and Community Feedback:
People enjoyed the evening and as mentioned kept asking when is the next one.
Challenges:
Seeking the right venue, which in the end I think we achieved successfully.
