What they said:

We chose to take part in the festival to deliver a soft launch of our oral history project, welcome our community back into the Broadway for the first time in 2025, and kickstart a series of major announcements on the project’s future.

The success of the event could be measured in the invaluable memories captured from members of our community, and the meaningful connections to the Broadway that were further nurtured and blossomed. The feedback from those that visited was overwhelmingly positive and our participation in the Community Land Festival has acted as a springboard for additional events and growth in 2025.

Outcomes and Community Feedback:

Positive feedback from the community in-person at the event and afterwards, and subsequent growth of the project through membership increases and increased awareness within our community.

Challenges:

Support for marketing the event digitally outwith our internal networks and channels.
