Community Ownership Roadshow: Cumbernauld

This winter, as we celebrate 100 Years of Community Ownership, we are stocking up on cakes and coffee, and visiting communities across Scotland to share inspiring stories of community ownership. On 19 March, in partnership with Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire, we will host an information session to share with communities the benefits and opportunities of community ownership.

The session will feature:

*  An introduction to community landownership: how can it help your community? How do you start? Who can help?

*  Information about communities’ rights to register interest in land or buildings

*  An overview of the support available

*  Inspiring community ownership stories

Following a few short presentations, there will be ample time to ask questions, and to meet with representatives from the Scottish Land Fund and Community Land Scotland.
