Evanton Community Wood

A morning walk and music session in the beautiful, mixed woodland as the leaves fall.
We will take a 1.5k circular, fairly level route passing by the pond, then join in the music session led by a professional accordionist at the woodland cabin where the Friday Futures group (for people living with dementia) meet. Refreshments provided.
Access via foot from The Chapel at the top of Chapel Road.

This event is part of Community Land Week, the festival of community ownership in Scotland. In 2023, nearly 50 communities from across Scotland will celebrate, with events ranging from guided walks across community-owned land and mushroom cultivation workshops, to pumpkin festivals and ceilidhs.
