Community-owned estate management study visit

28 & 29 March 2023

In March 2023, we are conducting a study visit to the Outer Hebrides to learn about the management of community-owned large estates. The study visit will include sessions at Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn (Galson Estate Trust) and the North Harris Trust, as well as a morning workshop session. Delegates will also have plenty of  opportunities to meet with other groups who are working on the same issues.

There is bursary support available to cover costs for travel, food and accommodation during the study visit.

Tuesday 28 March:

13:30 – 17:00 Study visit to Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn /Galson Estate Trust (lunch included)

Wednesday 29 March:

9:30 – 12:30 Workshop session at the Caladh Hotel in Stornoway

13:30 – 17:00 Study visit to the North Harris Trust (lunch included)
