Closeburn Youth Club

We will celebrate the fact of the Playing Field now being run by the Community by having a family event which will include Camping, Arts and Crafts, Nature Walks, Campfire (with hot chocolate and marshmallows and ghost stories from Mostly Ghostly), Dumfries Youth Work Team, Outdoor Cooking, and loads more to be planned!
We can help source tents, or if camping isn’t your thing you are welcome to still join in on day activities.

This event is part of Community Land Week, the festival of community ownership in Scotland. In 2023, nearly 50 communities from across Scotland will celebrate, with events ranging from guided walks across community-owned land and mushroom cultivation workshops, to pumpkin festivals and ceilidhs.
