Capturing Your Story: Oral History Workshop for Community Owners

Get ready and confident to capture and share your project’s story in this year of celebration.

We have been championing community ownership in Scotland since 2016 and in those years the stories we have amplified have been some of our best work. Community Land Scotland wants to enable community owners with the expertise to present their stories themselves.

Join us for an exciting online training to help community owners collect and tell their own oral history of the path towards community ownership. This engaging workshop, led by Iain Craig, will provide the tools necessary for community organisations to collect and document their community ownership histories.

The workshop will cover:

• Preparing step by step.
• Sorting out permissions and good practice.
• Trying out recording interviews.
• Talking over potential challenges.

You will also learn how to take care of and share your results, as well as learn about how we can support you in your work.

This Training is available for all communities that own land or buildings.
