The event will be open for the community of Upper Nithsdale:
Presence is a short psychological thriller that explores notions and effects of psychosis. The film was written, directed and edited by young people (aged 12 – 21) from the camera club of A’ the Airts. The film features young actors from the Sanquhar and the surrounding area and was shot in multiple locations in Sanquhar using A’ The Airts camera equipment and edited in A’ The Airts digital suite.
The second film – ‘More Than One Way to Go Home’ is a piece about autism. Written, produced and directed by a young thirteen year old Sanquhar based film maker- Edward Ryan, also known as Mr Porridge Productions. This is Edward’s second screening of an original film at the Centre. Again, featuring local young actors from Sanquhar.
Both events start at 7pm.
