Sally led the set-up of our Natural Capital Community Partnerships project in 2025 and has now moved across to a wider role providing support across a range of projects and ensuring the smooth delivery of support to new and existing community landowners. This support includes the promotion and encouragement of community landownership across Scotland and the building of peer-to-peer learning and networking among community landowners.

Sally’s background includes experience working within the crofting sector with strong experience in community engagement and development. Sally previously worked as an Agricultural Consultant with SRUC and as Development Manager with community landowner Urras Oighreachd Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Estate Trust). More recently, Sally was working in a business development role with Stornoway Port. Sally’s interest and passion for Land Reform led her to be one of the first Scottish Land Commissioners.
