Community Wealth Building Bill in Scotland Briefing (February 2025)

We welcome the principle of Community Wealth Building in Scotland as means of furthering community empowerment, building resilient local wellbeing economies and supporting a just transition to Net Zero.

Following formal Scottish Government consultation on Community Wealth Building, we have published a briefing setting out our position on an incoming Community Wealth Building Bill and what we believe is needed in order for this legislation to have a meaningful impact for Scotland’s communities.
