Community Food Growing: South of Scotland

Community Land Scotland hosted a panel of speakers for an inspirational discussion on all things food growing – from a community owned perspective.

Speakers included:

• The team at the wonderful and very active Kyle’s Allotment Group, part of Kilfinan Community Forest;
• Peebles Community Trust, who spoke about plans for the March Street Allotments and the journey they’ve been on with that project so far; and
• Karen Davidson from Social Farms and Gardens who spoke about the broader picture in the community food growing movement.

The event includes presentations from all our speakers followed by a Q&A.
