Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust

Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust was set up in 2012 after a period of community consultation on how best to address the economic decline which had been experienced locally, prompted by the two main hotels in the village of Tomintoul closing. The Trust has since delivered a wide range of projects including taking over the hostel in the village and running the Visitor Information Centre and museum.

In 2016, the Trust won a SURF Award for Community Led Regeneration.
