We are a two tier SCIO with open membership for anyone residing at a G69 0** or G69 9** postcode. Our ambition is to preserve and enhance areas of woodland around Moodiesburn, Muirhead and Chryston through Community Ownership.

To promote the beauty of our local greenspaces as vital infrastructure to  improve community health and wellbeing

Our Mission

  • To conserve and enhance the woodlands and open spaces of Strathkelvin in North Lanarkshire as a haven for wildlife and an educational and recreational resource for all
  • To promote the open spaces, by fostering practical action and promoting the area for walking and activities
