South Cowal Trust

The trust, a registered Scottish charity, was set up by South Cowal Community Council in 2025. It has been set up specifically to be able to use the community right to buy legislation to aquire land and/or property, all for the benefit of the community.

We are a member of Cowal Community Energy, another charity, which seeks to own, in whole or in part, renewable energy systems in order to generate income for community benefit.
