Polmont Community Hub

Polmont Community Hub is a community-run centre in Polmont that serves as a focal point for local activities, events, and social groups, a community-owned and volunteer-led organisation which operates out of the former Greenpark Community Centre.

The hub was created to save the old community centre from closure by taking it into community ownership and is run by local people for local people, with the goal of creating a welcoming, inclusive space.

The hub is quite large and versatile:

* Multiple rooms (main hall, craft room, meeting rooms, etc.)
* Kitchen and café/lounge areas
* Outdoor green space
* Rooms available to hire for events, classes, or meetings

What happens there

There’s a wide mix of community activities, for example:

* Fitness and dance classes
* Writing, craft, and hobby groups
* Clubs like bridge, karate, and gardening groups
* Community cinema nights (monthly)
* Seasonal events (e.g. Christmas fairs)
