Pitlochry Community Action Trust

Pitlochry Community Action Trust (PCAT) is a newly formed charitable Development Trust dedicated to the community of Pitlochry and Moulin. Our volunteers and members are at the heart of our organisation. We are here to make Pitlochry’s voice heard!

PCAT is working to save vital community services which are at risk of closure. Currently, the library, town hall, sports and recreation centre are all under threat. Perth and Kinross Council are working with the local community to review assets and assess whether the community could consider Asset Transfers. PCAT’s Community Action Plan also identifies that there is a shortage of affordable housing available and are keen to address this.

The Trust works in the following key areas: Access to Services & Transport; Community & Recreation; Town Enhancement & Traffic Management; Local Economy & Housing; Environment & Sustainability and Arts; Culture & Events.
