Set up in 2019 with the aim to help improve the village and support the local community, Douglas Community Development Company (DCDC) are based in the village of Douglas in South Lanarkshire. .

Protecting the village’s historic buildings

Main Projects:

Douglas Arms Hotel:
DCDC is working to bring this old, empty hotel back to life. It’s a historic building in the village, and they’re raising money to repair and restore it so it can be used again by the community.

Crabtree Park Pavilion:
They’re planning a new building in Crabtree Park that could be used for events, clubs, and community activities.
