Creative Stirling is an SCIO working with the community to deliver arts and cultural activity programmes. Over the past four years, our operations have grown substantially and include delivering the first phase of the Stirling Place Partnership in 2018 and developing projects to support increased grass roots activities through collaboration with artists and community leaders as well as establishing a multi-purpose arts and cultural venue in Stirling City Centre.
The charity’s trading arm, Made in Stirling, operates from a hub in a former retail property in the town centre. We have ambition to expand our program of creative and cultural activity in partnership with others – we offer affordable artist spaces and work collaboratively with other Hub Community tenants like Curiosity Collective, The Kitchen@44 and Stirling Community Media, ensuring a rich cultural mix and breadth of community engagement through food and media and boundless positive energy to the heart of the city. The property is ideal for our purposes and business model and we are keen to buy it before the lease expires in late 2023.
