Ballachulish Community Company Ltd

Ballachulish Community Company Ltd  (BCC) is a Scottish registered Charity which exists to benefit the local community through the ownership, development and management of local land and assets. Our long term aim is to generate a sustainable source of income to enable the BCC via a disbursement group to support charitable works in the village, create local employment, support local energy efficiency projects and improve the quality of life for local residents and workers.

We work closely with the Community Council , the Ballachulish Community Association SCIO ( who run the village hall which is owned by the community) and other organisations in the area. Currently we are working with the organisations on the preparation of a Community Action Plan , using consultants to assist us, involving the full spectrum of community groups, individuals and commercial organisations in the area and consulting with statutory authorities who supply our services, SNH and National Trust.

Our Board of Directors are all locally based volunteers and have a variety of skills and ages.
