Heather Yearwood, Inclusive Ownership Manager

Heather is leading a UK‑wide partnership project (Inclusive Ownership) to support communities to take control of land and buildings. Through her work, she is focused on making community ownership more accessible and inclusive, particularly for communities that have historically faced greater barriers. She has experience supporting community ownership across Scotland and is interested in how it can strengthen local economies and build more resilient communities.

Her background is in health, wellbeing and social development. She has also worked internationally supporting community-led projects, including community gardening and community business in Latin America and the Caribbean.
