Community Ownership Roadshow: East Lothian

We are stocking up on cakes and coffee, and visiting communities across Scotland to share inspiring stories of community ownership. Monday 3 March from 13:00 – 15:00, we will host an information session at The Fraser Centre in Tranent to share with communities the benefits and opportunities of community ownership.

The session will feature:

*  An introduction to community landownership: how can it help your community? How do you start? Who can help?

*  Information about communities’ rights to register interest in land or buildings

*  An overview of the support available

*  Cockenzie House and Gardens will share the story of their ownership journey

After a few short presentations, there will be ample time to ask questions, and to meet with representatives from the Scottish Land Fund and Community Land Scotland.
