Darren’s role is to support on policy development, research, advocacy, and campaigns to further enable land reform and expand community ownership of land and assets in Scotland.

Darren has a research science background in academia and subsequently worked on policy development, advocacy, and research engagement in the eNGO sector covering multiple aspects of the natural environment and natural capital finance.

Along with campaigning experience, Darren brings these skills together to drive forward an evidence-based approach to advocate for a fairer future for Scotland’s land and communities.
