Join us in Wick as part of our community ownership roadshow, where we’ll be sharing inspiring stories, practical advice, and plenty of coffee with communities across Scotland.

On Wednesday 12 November, we’ll be at the Wick Assembly Rooms to explore how to make community-owned assets thrive. Wherever you are on your community ownership journey – curious, considering your options, or already running an asset – this session is for you. We’ll start with the basics, then dive into the practical challenges of making community assets thrive.

This free session will cover:

• Making assets work – How to increase revenue, manage costs, and ensure your community asset is a sustainable resource.
• Understanding the support network – Meet representatives from Community Land Scotland, the Scottish Land Fund, funders, and peer communities who can provide guidance, expertise, and practical help.
• Learning from others – Hear from a featured community group tackling these challenges firsthand.

There’ll be short presentations, plenty of time for questions, informal chats, and the chance to connect with people who’ve “been there, done that.”
