We hold monthly work days to develop and maintain our new 45 acre woodland, recently planted with over 20,000 trees.

Around 40 volunteers participate when they can – most of us have other lives too! Volunteers are individuals, couples and families and everyone is welcome. While adults do the heavy and skilled work, children are encouraged to do lighter jobs such as observations (birds, butterflies, wild flowers, etc).

Volunteer Training has been arranged for skilled tasks like scything and first aid. People usually bring their own picnic lunch and drink, which can be consumed within our hub building (shown in photographs) when raining.
