The Calanais Centre is developing a team of volunteers who will record weather data, coastal erosion, other weather related erosion and site-specific erosion around the 3 standing stone circles in Callanish. The team will input data into the various ‘Citizen Science’ web portals the main ones being the Scottish Environment and European Environment Citizen science web portals.

Join us as the volunteer team unveil the new weather station and begin to record weather data. They will also choose a site where coastal erosion, plastics and debris, and other types of monitoring will take place.
