SUMMARY:Community Ownership Roadshow: East Lothian
DESCRIPTION:We are stocking up on cakes and coffee\, and visiting communities across Scotland to share inspiring stories of community ownership. Monday 3 March from 13:00 – 15:00\, we will host an information session at The Fraser Centre in Tranent to share with communities the benefits and opportunities of community ownership. \nThe session will feature: \n*  An introduction to community landownership: how can it help your community? How do you start? Who can help? \n*  Information about communities’ rights to register interest in land or buildings \n*  An overview of the support available \n*  Cockenzie House and Gardens will share the story of their ownership journey \nAfter a few short presentations\, there will be ample time to ask questions\, and to meet with representatives from the Scottish Land Fund and Community Land Scotland. \nIn addition to this event\, we will also be hosting two additional events in the Scottish Borders and Fife.
