SUMMARY:Urras Oighreachd Chàrlabhaigh (Carloway Estate Trust)
DESCRIPTION:Our event is an informative Ceilidh. The event will allow us to showcase projects we have completed and are working on\, and we have also invited other local groups to come and display what they have been working on. This gives everyone the opportunity for public feedback and engagement. \nThe Ceilidh aspect of the event will be led by local music organisation Torman. Torman will  perform traditional songs from each of the townships involved in the event. The music will be interspersed throughout the event and refreshments will be provided. \n  \n  \n \nThis event is part of Community Land Week\, the festival of community ownership in Scotland. In 2023\, nearly 50 communities from across Scotland will celebrate\, with events ranging from guided walks across community-owned land and mushroom cultivation workshops\, to pumpkin festivals and ceilidhs. \nLearn more.
