DESCRIPTION:Join us for an autumn celebration of the Applecross Community Company projects: Appleseed Community Garden and Coille Coimhearsnachd na Comraich (Applecross Community Woodland). \nMeet in Appleseed Community Garden at 12:00 noon to take part in a family-friendly activity trail of foraging\, nature games and Gaelic tree lore around Coille a’ Thorra Ghairbh (Torgarve Woods) before returning to the garden for soup and stories around the fire with storyteller Roddy Maclean. \nSeasonal craft activities and hot drinks will be available in the garden. Please bring a cup\, and wear sturdy footwear and warm\, waterproof clothing. \nParking is available opposite Applecross Campsite. \n \nThis event is part of Community Land Week\, the festival of community ownership in Scotland. In 2023\, nearly 50 communities from across Scotland will celebrate\, with events ranging from guided walks across community-owned land and mushroom cultivation workshops\, to pumpkin festivals and ceilidhs. \nLearn more.
