Here you’ll find details of opportunities for grant funding which may be of interest to you – we try to keep this as up to date as possible, if there as no relevant funds listed at the moment, check again later & you may find what you’re looking for.   • Scottish Land Fund
    The latest round of the Scottish Land Fund closed on November 2015. However, a new round will be opening in 2016, with funding available to local communities in both rural and urban areas to take on land or land assets. Although full details and timings are yet to be confirmed, we are still keen to talk to anyone interested in applying to the Scottish Land Fund in the future. Project Funding

  • Rural Housing Fund
    The Scottish Government has launched a £25m Rural Housing Fund which aims to increase the supply of affordable housing of all tenures in rural Scotland and will contribute to the Government’s 50,000 affordable homes target. It is available to a wide range of applicants, including community organisations, development trusts, private landowners and private developers, as well as more traditional housing providers,  enabling them to take a more active role in meeting the housing needs of their communities.The fund has two components, the main one offering capital support (grant and loan) to enable the direct provision of new affordable housing and refurbishment of existing empty properties and a second smaller component providing a contribution to feasibility studies.
    Current Application Deadline: The Rural Housing Fund will be available from April 2016 for a period of three years
  • The Co-operative Community Membership Fund
    Community Fund grants, between £100 and £2,000 are awarded to community groups to run projects that carry out positive work in the community and address a community issue, provide a good long-term benefit to the community, support co-operative values and principles, ideally be innovative in its approach.

  • Low Carbon Infrastructure Transition Programme
    A range of support mechanisms including project development, expert advice and funding (where applicable) is available through this Scottish Government scheme to support the development of substantive private, public and community low-carbon projects across Scotland
