Woodlands Centre

The event is an attempt to gauge interest amongst the crofting townships (approx. 40) within the Trust area for their participation in a series of meetings looking at the sustainability of crofting across the Stornoway Trust Estate as the Trust approaches its centenary milestone.

Feedback from the events will help the Trust better understand the structure and content of these sessions which will hopefully be scheduled over the winter period.

To coincide with Community Land Week, the first meeting is planned for Friday 16th August 2019 for 7.30pm in the Woodland Centre, Lews Castle Grounds, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS2 0XP.

The event will be by invitation to the Grazings Committees with RSVP to the Trust office so we know numbers for catering purposes.
