We are pleased to present a discussion focused on helping communities understand how the market for carbon credits work, how they can impact land values and availability of land, and what this might mean for communities that already own land, or are thinking of buying land.
William Hawes and Charlie Davis from Savills will be explaining the private sector market in carbon credits; James McDougall from the Woodland Trust will be discussing how they work with communities and Jon Hollingdale from the Community Woodland Association will outline what help is available to communities.
Following the presentations, the speakers will participate in a panel discussion, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
