Investment Readiness Workshops
Inverness: Tues 1st Dec
Aberdeen: Wed 2nd Dec
Oban: Thurs 10th Dec
Dumfries: Wed 13th Jan
The Investment Readiness Workshops are designed to have a very practical feel. We’ll be aiming to demystify social investment as we look at how charities, social enterprises and community groups can make good use of it.
These afternoon sessions examine how enterprises can access investment, the importance of business planning and the typical costs of borrowing. Delivered by SIS’s Roger Moors, you’ll hear it from someone who has not only established enterprises himself but also borrowed social investment to do it.
So whether you want to understand more about appropriate legal structures, how investment compares to grants, or why social impact is really important, these workshops are for you.
Who should attend?
- Charities (with existing enterprises or those thinking about establishing a new one)
- Social Enterprises
- Community Groups
- Sector support bodies
- Trustees and Directors of third sector organisations
Professional Insights Workshops also being held in in Inverness, Aberdeen, Oban and Dumfries.
