This public lecture marks the fifth anniversary of the publication of The Poor Had No Lawyers in October 2010. The talk will cover the main themes of the book, reflecting on the historical context as well as on the challenges of land governance across urban rural and marine Scotland, and outline the significant work that remains to be done to democratise land in Scotland.
The lecture is being filmed in order to be available online. The ticket price (£12) covers the costs of the venue hire and 50% of the filming costs. I am paying for the remaining costs. Thank you for supporting this event.
