Community Land Scotland is excited to be hosting three events exploring community ownership of green space. The events are free and all are welcome to attend be it individuals and community groups interested in ownership, existing community landowners or other stakeholders.

11-12:30, Tuesday, June 29th – Meet the Pioneers: community ownership of urban green space (webinar)
Join us to hear from Bonnymuir Green Community Trust in Aberdeen, Helensburgh Community Woodlands Group and Carluke Development Trust. These organisations have acquired and developed open spaces and will share their experiences of the process and what they’ve learned along the way. You can find out more and register here.

14-15:30, Thursday, July 1st – Community Food Growing in the South of Scotland (webinar)
Join a panel of speakers for an inspirational discussion on all things food growing – from a community owned perspective. The event will include presentations from all our speakers followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Find out more and book a space here.

13-14:00, Wednesday, July 7th – Glasgow and Clyde Focus: Community Owned Green Space (meeting)
Join this event if you are based in Glasgow and the Clyde Valley and interested in the community ownership of green space. The event builds on our event on the 29th of June and is a space for groups aspiring to own green spaces of any type. Find out more and register here.
