I am from and have worked in community development and economic development in rural communities for many years and supporting social enterprise in rural context for last 16 years. Community land ownership is so important for ensuring community benefit from our land assets which in turn contributes to the resilience and sustainability of our communities. This can enable inclusion and assists with tackling inequalities from a grass roots perspective and also enables communities to maximise assets for social, environmental and economic benefits.
