Applications are open for Community Land Week 2019

Community Land Week, the celebration of all things community ownership will return this year from the 10th to the 18th August. Any geographic community that owns land or another asset, from an estate to a woodland to a community centre, can apply to run an event as part of the week.

Community Land Week, the celebration of all things community ownership will return this year from the 10th to the 18th August. Any geographic community that owns land or another asset from an estate to a woodland to a community centre can apply to run an event as part of the week.

Community Land Week, which is coordinated by Community Land Scotland and the Scottish Government, first ran in 2018 when fourteen communities from across Scotland took part with events ranging from guided walks across community-owned land to ceilidhs and study visits.

This year, we hope even more communities will participate so that more people can find out what community landownership is all about.

Communities that are interested in running an event should read the Guidance and submit an Expression of Interest form by Friday 17th May to:
