Call for Directors for Community Land Scotland

The board of Community Land Scotland would like to invite nominations for the two director vacancies arising on its board.Angus Robertson and Iain MacIver will stand down from the board at the AGM on 21st May 2015 and neither intends to seek re-election for a further term.

I should be grateful if you would send nominations for directors to me at jch@abrach.com by midnight on Monday 27th April 2015. If more than two candidates are nominated, then an election will take place.

A director must be an individual who is a full member in their own right OR be nominated by a full member which is a corporate body.

The role of a director involves attending four board meetings a year, attending some seminars and events throughout the year, with a representational role at any meetings with partners and stakeholders. The role is unremunerated but travel and subsistence costs will be met. The work of Community Land Scotland is detailed on our website at https://www.communitylandscotland.org.uk/

If you would like to discuss the role of a board member in greater details, please contact David Cameron (Chairman), or myself.
