Arran Community Land Initiative Vacancy


Part Time Development Officer required.

The Arran Community Land Initiative (Charity reg. SC043886) has acquired and aims to bring back into use 80 acres of farmland above Whiting Bay village for outdoor educational purposes, pursuits and activities.

The Board of Trustees now wishes to appoint a Development Officer to drive the project forward. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on similar community projects, a proven record of securing grant funding and experience in countryside management. Excellent financial management, verbal and written communication skills and ICT literacy are also required.

The post is offered on an initial fixed term 12 month contract, which may be extendable subject to additional funding being secured. The salary offered is £24,000 per annum pro-rata three days a week. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
