Highland Seminar dates for your diary

TOWARDS ONE MILLION ACRES IN COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP BY 2020

Community owned land is increasing rapidly in acreage and tens of thousands of people are already benefitting from that ownership.

Throughout November, Community Land Scotland with the Highland Council will be holding a series of seminars across their region for those who are considering buying land or those interested to find out more about what it means to be a community land owner and how it is done.

The events will answer the question “Why community land ownership?” and outline the support that can be offered to communities throughout the process from initial idea to the morning of ownership.

The seminars are free of charge for aspiring communities and people involved in community ownership development.

Seminars will be held at the following locations in November at Helmsdale (12th), Durness (13th), Ullapool (14th), Inverness area (18th), Aviemore (19th) and Fort William (20th).
